Former Okinawa Governor Masahide Ota

(Okinawa Times) Former Okinawa Governor, Masahide Ota, has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, according to a press conference held at the Prefectural government by the “Nobel Peace Prize for the Soul of Heiwa no Ishiji” executive committee. The committee made up by Okinawa university/college professors and citizen groups, had mentioned about receiving an official letter of acceptance from the Nobel Peace Prize Committee in Norway.
