Henoko Landfill Approval, CCS Suga Hints Compensation of Damages if Withdrawal

During yesterday’s press conference, Chief Cabinet Secretary (CCS), Yoshihide Suga, has hinted filing for compensation of damages against Okinawa Governor, Takeshi Onaga, if he withdrawals the Henoko landfill approval given by then governor Hirokazu Nakaima. 

According to government high officials, if the relocation construction comes to a halt, procurement and labor costs alone will be in the range of few hundred thousand dollars per day.
